Get Involved With Missions!

Here are 10 ways you can get more involved with MASTER Provisions:

1. Pray For Us

You can give us the best "boost" by interceding with God on our behalf. Join our KneE-mail Prayer Alert Team and get our ministry prayer needs emailed to you twice each month. Prayer is our NUMBER 1 NEED - we rely on the prayers of our supporters, here and abroad to "fight the battles" for us. Tell a praying friend about us, too. Thanks for praying for the staff and work of MP!

2. Donate Clothing

Clean out your closets - get rid of those clean, good used clothes and shoes that you can no longer wear or want. Contact the nearest MP staffer and arrange to bring your clothes (no need to fold them and no hangars, please) in boxes or garbage bags to the MP warehouse nearest you. Donation receipts are available.

3. Collect Clothing

Collect on your own, or as a youth group or Sunday School class project. Contact local groups who have clothes to give away.Some of the best to contact are dry cleaners, who often have years-worth of unclaimed clothing, or "store-and-lock" facilities who have clothes left behind from unclaimed lockers. Check with local benevolence groups(Goodwill, Salvation Army, St. Vincent DePaul, etc.) who regularly collect clothing and ask if they have excess that you can bring to MP. Consignment shops are another good source of clean, used clothing. Search your area for garage sales and church rummage sales - at the end of the sale they will usually give you all their extra clothing just so they don't have to pack them. Be creative, our country is incredibly blessed with clothing and there are unlimited ways to find them!

4. Volunteer To Help At An MP Warehouse

With all the clothes coming in (we process about 30 - 40,000 pounds of clothing and shoes at our Northern Kentucky Warehouse every 2 months - that's about 6 containers' worth per year!) we need HELP. Volunteers are needed to sort, pack, load, and bale the clothes and shoes we receive. Individuals, homeschool groups, 4-H groups, youth groups, and even families have volunteered to help in our warehouse. For a satisfying use of your time and energy, contact the regional director near you to make arrangements for yourself or your group to "lend a hand!"

5. Organize A Container Event

You can organize your church and community to fill a container - and we'll help you every step of the way. We've been at this for over 9 years so we know all the "ins and outs" to get your church or mission group organized to collect, sort, pack, and load a container-full of good used clothes and shoes. 6. Become A Financial Supporter Of MP

MASTER Provisions is a faith mission that operates entirely on donations from individuals and churches. We need committed monthly supporters (of any amount) so we can pursue the expanding work God has for us - right now we are in six countries, and there are several more that could open-up to at any time. The six full-time, and one part-time staff members of MP and their families derive their income solely from contributions from people like you. Last year, God multiplied the moneys donated for MP staff salaries to create over 5 times that amount in sales generated in the second-hand shops overseas! 7. Join Us On A Mission Trip

MASTER Provisions leads several mission trips to the countries we serve. These trips allow you to meet the people you are helping in their native land. You get to experience the day-to-day lives of these people as you live and work with them during your two-week stay. You will also have a chance to worship in local churches and evangelize the lost. 8. Become A MASTER Care Supporter

MP has recently started an orphan care ministry known as MASTER Care. For just $50 per month, you can sponsor an orphaned Ukrainian child to be placed into a Ukrainian Christian home. Our goal is not only to take care of the child by placing him/her in loving home, but to raise up a generation of Ukrainian Christians who will win their country for Christ. We have had several families, Sunday School classes, and churches commit to support a child through the MASTER Care program. 9. Invite MP To Speak To Your Church

MASTER Provisions provides missionary speakers that will come to your church or missions conference and speak about how God is moving through missions across the world. We can speak to Sunday School classes, youth groups, or entire congregations. Contact Roger Babik for scheduling an MP speaker at your church!

10. Invite MP To Your Youth Camp

MASTER Provisions provides missionary speakers to act as counselors and teachers at your youth camp. We have informative and interesting lessons we can teach about the Russian people, their culture, and how God uses missions that motivate young people to consider being more involved with missions work. We have even had summer camps where campers collected, sorted, and packed clothing - getting a great "hands on" experience and a wonderful service opportunity at the same time!
