His Eyes (Map of Area)

Below is a description of this ministry.

1) What is the name of your ministry? His Eyes

Family 2) What does the name of your ministry mean? It means we look at the world through His eyes, Christ's eyes, and in doing so reach out to serve those around us, meeting physical needs to open the door to sharing the Gospel with those in Honduras and around the world.

3) How many jobs has your ministry created? Directly it has created at least 11.

Shoppers 4) How do you evangelize with your ministry? We use tracts, videos, personal prayer as well as making Bible studies and personal visits to those open through visits to the store and then subsequent visists from staff members to their homes.

Shoppers waiting 5) How is the clothing used for Jesus? The number one priority of the ministry is sharing the Gospel. Meeting the physical needs of the people by being able to provide clothing that is good but cheaper than anywhere else immediately opens a door as the people do not know why we would do this. They ask questions and that opens an avenue to share that these clothes come in His name.

6) What are your ministry's plans in the next two years (Future plans?) We hope to plant more stores in rural areas, ideally where we will also be planting new Churches. We also will continue with rural distributions with short term groups incorporating VBS programs to plant seeds and begin the work to start Churches in new areas. We hope to double the number of stores being supported by the ministry from four at the end of 2006 to 8 by the end of 2007, looking for new opportunities but not forcing the expansion where it is not warranted.
